Director of the Hand Therapy Group, A/Prof Anne Wajon has more than 35 years of experience in treating hand injuries in a variety of hand therapy clinics both overseas and in Australia. Anne graduated with a Physiotherapy degree from the University of Sydney, subsequently completing her Masters Degree and PhD on prevention and management of arthritis at the base of the thumb. In 2015, she completed a Graduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, and in 2018, an MBA through Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
Anne is an Accredited Hand Therapist (as awarded by the AHTA), a Certified Hand Therapist (USA), a member and Past-President of the Australian Hand Therapy Association and a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association. She is currently Past-President of the International Federation of Societies for Hand Therapy (IFSHT) for the term 2019-2022.
Anne has published original research in the Cochrane Library, Journal of Hand Therapy, Journal of Manual Therapy and Journal of Physiotherapy, and contributed to a number of book chapters.
