Sally graduated from Sydney University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in 2011, and a Master of Physiotherapy in 2013. She has worked in a variety of public hospitals and private practices within NSW, QLD and TAS, where she has gained extensive experience treating acute, chronic and complex traumatic hand and upper limb injuries. Sally has completed two hand therapy clinical fellowships; in 2016/17 at EKCO Hand Therapy (Brisbane), and 2018/19 at Sydney Hospital, where she completed a project evaluating outcomes following tendon repairs. Sally is currently a PhD candidate at Macquarie University.
In 2020, Sally graduated with a Master of Science with Distinction in Hand Therapy through the University of Derby, UK. This involved three years of study, and completion of a research project and thesis evaluating the use of relative motion splinting to improve active PIP joint motion.
Sally is an Accredited Hand Therapist (as awarded by the Australian Hand Therapy Association) and a Certified Hand Therapist (Hand Therapy Certification Commission, USA).
