Michael graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) degree. He is currently also studying a Doctor of Medicine degree at Deakin University to broaden his ability in helping patients and improving their quality of life.
Michael has a keen interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation, especially knee and shoulder injuries and chronic pain conditions. He is passionate about helping and supporting people overcome their barriers and getting them back to their pre-injury function and beyond. He achieves this with an evidence-based approach of education, manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation.
Back in Sydney, Michael was the head physiotherapist for UTS Bats AFC. Outside of physiotherapy, Michael is a huge supporter of Liverpool FC and the LA Clippers, and enjoys snowboarding, playing basketball and strength training.
