Cavan graduated with academic excellence as a Physiotherapist from Griffith University in 2015, having previously studied Undergraduate degrees in Sports Science and Exercise Science. He has gained diverse clinical experiences in areas such as orthopaedics, cardio-respiratory, out-patient musculoskeletal, intensive care, neurological rehabilitation, general medicine, paediatrics, spinal cord injuries and complex case musculoskeletal. Cavan has worked with many sports clubs such as Labrador Tigers NEAFL team as part of the Health Support Team and is keenly interested in the rehabilitation process. Cavan has been in contact with physiotherapists throughout his life as he has travelled the world to participate in events at state and national levels playing water polo, rugby and swimming.
Cavan has been involved in numerous research projects and relishes the opportunity and ability to link the evidence with the clinical application to achieve great results for his patients. He is highly interested in chronic lower back pain, whiplash-associated disorders, acute sporting conditions and neurological vestibular disorders. Cavan is particularly interested in building rapport and making sure that all of his patients have a good understanding of their condition(s) to allow for the best outcomes.
He is highly motivated to achieve health and wellness through the practice of evidence-based treatments and education for all his patients.
