Teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime.” This quote has always appealed to Tien and he has embodied this idea through his physiotherapy practice, he also extends this philosophy to his interest as a clinical educator and mentor. Tien enjoyed supporting and mentoring physiotherapy students from UniSA, the University of Melbourne and new graduates through the steep learning curve at the start of their physiotherapy journey.

Outside of work, Tien loves being outdoors and being physical. He takes great pleasure in breathing the air of the four seasons and exploring nature. The COVID-19 pandemic also rekindled his childhood passion of camping and more recently 4WD. Tien, his wife and their two young boys take every opportunity to pack their swags, go for a drive and enjoy Australia’s endless amazing views. Tien also enjoys chasing a little white ball around 18 holes, and a quick game of tennis or badminton in his free time.
