Mervyn is originally from South Africa. He had arrived with his wife and 2 young daughters in Australia in February 2023. Since arriving in Australia, he and his family are enjoying and embracing the Aussie lifestyle.  

Mervyn has been qualified as a physiotherapist for 20 years and has worked in both state and private practice. He has extensive experience in the various disciplines within the scope of physiotherapy. He has worked closely with orthopaedic surgeons in the rehabilitation of post spinal surgeries and post robotic hip and knee surgeries.  

His special interests include headaches, neck and back pain, sport injuries and rehabilitation of neuromusculoskeletal conditions such as shoulder, knee and ankle problems and stroke. 

In his leisure time, Mervyn enjoys playing soccer, tennis as well as hiking.
