Brendan has been a physiotherapist at Allsports Indooroopilly since graduating from his Masters of Physiotherapy at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. He enjoys treating all musculoskeletal presentations but has a particular passion for working with young athletes to not only assist them in returning to sport after injury as optimally as possible, but also by developing their physical abilities (e.g. strength, power, endurance), on-field performance and durability. He does this through in-depth assessment (using cutting-edge technology) and prescription of individualised exercise programs which allow them to perform optimally in their chosen sport and achieve their career goals.

He also enjoys treating patients of all ages, with all different forms of injury, and is dedicated to helping patients achieve their best possible outcomes and best quality of life. An example of this is the reputable GLAD program that he runs twice per week which manages people with knee and hip osteoarthritis, along with their other injuries. This program has been shown to reduce pain, reduce need for pain relieving medication, improve function and improve confidence and quality of life.

Brendan is the world’s biggest rugby league fan and will talk anything sport related for hours if given the chance. Brendan also plays several sports himself including rugby league, touch football, volleyball and netball. Hence, you may see him limping around with his own injuries from time to time. He also loves spending time with his family, friends and his big sook of a dog who is ironically named Zeus.
