Amelia joined AllSports Jindalee after completing her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Australian Catholic University. Amelia decided to pursue physiotherapy based on her passion for sport and the performing arts, allowing her to observe the impact physiotherapy can have on athletic performance and hollistic well-being. Growing up, Amelia competed in netball, touch football, sport aerobics and performed with Ballet Theatre Queensland at QPAC.
Amelia has worked with a variety of sporting/dance establishments including; Meg Ryan Sport Aerobics, Carina Rugby Leagues Club, Easts Rugby Leagues Club, Brisbane Cobras Touch Football club, University of Queensland Football Club and Centenary Dance Academy. During her time at university, Amelia has also been grateful to work and learn from the physiotherapists at Queensland Ballet during their Nutcracker season in 2023.
Amelia has a keen interest in managing hypermobility, musculoskeletal, sport and dance injuries. She offers Pre-Pointe Assessments, clinical pilates assessments and leads AllSports Jindalee’s Dance Pilates classes. When Amelia is not in the clinic, she’s playing social sport, doing pilates or attending dance classes.
