After completing his Bachelors in Occupational Therapy at Deakin University, Andrew has enjoyed working with some of the world leaders in Hand Therapy and Hand Surgery in Melbourne. During this time, Andrew gained experience in the management of a broad range of hand conditions including elite athletes, musicians, work place trauma and arthritic conditions. Returning to his home town of Geelong, Andrew is excited to provide the very best hand therapy care for all hand injuries and conditions.
Andrew is passionate about educating his patients on their diagnosis – he strives to make sure every individual he treats know the ins and outs of their condition. He aims to work with his patients to set goals enabling them to work towards getting back to what they love doing as quickly as possible. As a Hand Therapist, Andrew enjoys working closely with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, surgeons, trainers, coaches and doctors to provide the best care for his patients.
Andrew has completed extra study in management of the wrist, burns management and chronic pain and has lectured to hand therapists and students on Rheumatoid Arthritis and professionalism in private practice. Andrew’s next lecturing gig is February 2019 when he will present the most up to date evidence on Lateral Epicondylalgia (tennis elbow) to the Western Victoria Hand Therapy Group.
