Andrew graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2013 from the University of South Australia and has been working in Physiotherapy for over 10 years now. Predominantly he has worked in private practice settings and has a strong background in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
Andrew was drawn to Physiotherapy as a profession because of how interesting it was to study and learn the human body and how every individual thinks and functions differently. Eventually he was driven to be more passionate by the mutual satisfaction of seeing patients return to their life, after experiencing injuries that previously had held them back. He loved seeing people being able to go back to work, be available for their families again or hearing them return to their treasured weekend activities.
Andrew’s treatment philosophy is to work collaboratively with his clients to provide as much relief as he can, whilst at the same time guiding and empowering them to adapt and become more resilient with their bodies. Physiotherapy undoubtedly has a huge emphasis on treating physical impairments and so Andrew likes to look at people’s problems holistically and work with them to try to give strategies around other life factors that may be of concern.
