Fiona loves supporting parents and teachers to problem solve and piece together ways to better understand their child and to see them shine. In particular, she enjoys supporting children who would otherwise “fall through the cracks”. Fiona loves seeing the joy on a child’s face when they master a new skill or develop increased confidence and self worth. She is passionate about providing opportunities for children to reach their full potential, whatever that may be, and become happy, confident, independent adults.
Fiona is an Occupational Therapist with a special interest in supporting children to reach their developmental potential and have a joyful and fulfilling childhood. She has presented at state, national, and international conferences. Fiona is an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Queensland and is co-author of the Foundation Literacy Program. Her PhD focused on the transition to secondary school for children with Cerebral Palsy.
