Kerrie specialises in the assessment and management of people presenting with complex musculoskeletal pain, particularly spinal pain and dysfunction. Kerrie was a founding partner of Allsports Physiotherapy, Gold Coast and is the only Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist on the Gold Coast. In addition to her clinical load, she is a Senior Research Fellow at The University of Sydney and the Group Education and Research Officer at Healthia Limited, Australia.

Prior to these roles, she spent 18 years at Griffith University as a Senior Lecturer and was the Program Director of the post-graduate Masters of Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy Program. Her research continues to focus on prevention and management of people with neck and back pain, mechanisms underpinning the effectiveness of manual therapy, pain, and golf-related injuries.
