Jessie was born and raised in Hobart, before moving to Canberra to study a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra, graduating in 2018. Since finishing university, Jessie has worked at private practices across both Hobart and Melbourne, where she was able to work with clients of various backgrounds and ages.
Jessie is passionate about helping people become the best version of themselves, treating with a holistic approach. She particularly enjoys working with young female athletes and women of all ages, assisting them in achieving their physical and functional goals. Jessie is a qualified GLA:D and Onero instructor, and is experienced with creating appropriate and tailored exercise programs.
Jessie played soccer for 18 seasons, representing Tasmania and Australia on several occasions as a youth player. She made the switch to AFL six years ago, after being signed as a rookie with the Tasmanian North Melbourne Kangaroos for their inaugural season. She has spent the past two seasons playing with Hawthorn in the VFLW competition and has recently joined Port Melbourne for the upcoming VFLW season. Jessie has also played high level touch football, futsal and tennis in the past. She spends her free time watching sport, looking at dog videos on social media and talking sport and physio with her partner, who is also a physiotherapist.
