Lynette brings multiple skills to PhysioWorks. With more than 30 years of experience, her dedication, warmth, and Presence support her as a highly regarded and skilled Remedial Massage Therapist and Biodynamic Cranial Approach Practitioner.

Lynette’s passion for health and wellbeing began at an early age, beginning her career in Dental Nursing and Dental Radiography; then transitioning to study a Diploma of Massage Therapy in WA.  A life-long interest in Natural Health and Wellbeing, lead Lynette to undertake further studies in TCM, Remedial and Lomi Hawaiian Massage, as well as Biodynamic Cranial Approach.  Having a love of anything involving water, Lynette furthered her studies in Aquatic Healing Dance, enabling her to combine Water Therapies with Biodynamic Cranial Approach. Her many years practicing Massage and Biodynamic Cranial Approach, led Lynette to understand she needed to continue and deepen her studies, practices and knowledge, in Trauma Informed Approaches; to create a very safe and held field, to deeply support her clients and their nervous systems.  As well as becoming a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader.

Biodynamic Cranial Approach

Biodynamic Cranial Approach (BCA) is a profound approach to healing, opening new and unexpected changes in health and wholeness. A safe space for experiences, feelings and emotions to emerge and resolve smoothly, without being overwhelming or re-stimulating. These challenges and changes have been happening to us since we were a tiny dot; shaping and imprinting our systems with patterns that were very appropriate at the time and become outdated. Some systems need a spring clean, others need deep cleaning.

Without some deep cleaning, our body-mind system becomes clogged with layers of holding. We feel more and more unsettled inside and forget how to deeply relax in our own skin. Anxiety, depression and disease may ensue or overwhelm. We also have recurring aches and pains, feel a host of emotions that seem to control us, and a mind that is just SO busy or dull.

All these factors can dominate our lives, and we then feel limited and we’re not living how we want to. We are disconnected from the Present Moment, our health and wellbeing.  We may completely forget what it’s like to relax into our own inherent healing processes. This capacity might have diminished in the womb or when we were small children.

Wholeness as Health is one of the main guiding principles of Lynette’s work.  It comes from a biodynamic perspective informed by the late great Embryologist Erich Blechschmidt.  There really is no separation. We are always, and in all ways, a complete functional whole.  The forces that create us, also maintain us, and continue to influence our growth, development, and evolution. Viewing through the eyes of wholeness will shift your perspective, and open potent portals for health and wellbeing.

BCA is a profound way to come back into connection with our health, to be supported in our healing process. It’s radically changed Lynette’s life and she sees that same process happening in her clients.

People commonly come to BCA to:

  • Transform stress and anxiety
  • Reduce re-occurring health issues such as headaches, migraines and pain
  • Navigate difficult life challenges
  • Deepen inner exploration

BCA allows people to experience:

  • Peace and balance, as your nervous system is regulated
  • Breathe more easily and fully
  • Increased vitality
  • Stronger internal alignment
  • Increased fluidity as aches and pains release
  • Embodiment; a felt sense experience of deepening into the present moment
  • Relaxing and becoming more at ease
  • Recovery from an injury or illness
  • Meeting difficult challenges
  • Returning to our inherent wholeness brings joy, resilience and a fulfilling life
