Madi is a Cairns local and moved to Townsville to pursue her career as a physiotherapist in 2016. After graduating from James Cook University in 2019, Madi moved to Charters Towers to gain a year of rural experience, with a large focus on musculoskeletal and sports injuries.

Madi was excited to join the SportsMed team at the end of 2020 with a specific love for post-op rehab and sports injuries. Madi has since gained an interest in hand therapy and is continuing to progress in professional development within this area. Madi has completed courses including Level 1 sports trainer, dry needling & acupuncture, NOI explain pain, Level 1 hand therapy & orthotic fabrication immobilisation, and Level 1 Lyn Watson shoulder course. 

Madi grew up playing competitive tennis at a representable level, where she experienced the importance of rehabilitation following sport related injuries. She has a great passion for exercise and enjoys living a healthy and active lifestyle.
