Natalie graduated from Griffith University, Gold Coast with a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Masters in Physiotherapy in 2009. Natalie initially worked in a musculoskeletal and sports injury private practice until she decided her passion was with helping children. Natalie joined Q Paediatrics in 2013 and since has dedicated her time to helping children reach their full potential.
Since becoming a physiotherapist Natalie has continued to develop her skills and knowledge by completing professional development courses relating to both paediatric and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Courses have included, but not limited to, muscle energy techniques, functional strength and conditioning, NSMDA course, level 1 Paediatric Physiotherapy course and stability courses for the cervical, thoracic, lumbar, sacroiliac and hip.
Natalie has worked with children with multiple conditions including plagiocephaly, torticollis, developmental delay, ASD, hypermobility and juvenile arthrtitis. Natalie has developed a keen interest in exercise based therapy as a means of developing muscle balances and stability throughout the body and enjoys working with families to create fun dynamic exercises to achieve this and give best possible outcomes in regards to injury prevention and optimal performance. Natalie also operates within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) so is willing to assist you through the process and answer any questions along the way.
