Peta Wallis graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from James Cook University in 2012 and is based at our Red Hill Allsports Clinic. Having worked as a physiotherapist for over ten years, Peta is interested in health promotion, injury prevention and providing a hands-on approach to individual patient care.
As a former professional contemporary dancer, Peta has a passion for movement and exercise-based rehabilitation. She has a keen interest in treating musculoskeletal conditions, post- surgical rehabilitation, sporting and dance related injuries. Peta is a GLA:D physiotherapist and has worked extensively with people with osteoarthritis. Other formal qualifications include dry needling, Functional Kinetic Link Training, Pilates mat work, temporomandibular disorders (jaw pain and related issues) and hydrotherapy.
Outside of work Peta enjoys spending quality time with her active son and husband. She enjoys keeping fit, yoga and travelling. One day she hopes to return to dance and performing on the stage.
