Tien graduated from La Trobe University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Physiotherapy. From the start, he had a keen interest in private practice, and started working as private physiotherapist in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. In early 2020, Tien and his partner decided to move to Hervey Bay to expand and explore more career opportunities in their own respective fields.

Since then, Tien has worked to further develop his skills in practice such as attaining his dry needling certification and has a passion for musculoskeletal, sports-based, and vestibular physiotherapy.

In his spare time, Tien has a particular interest in combat sports and martial arts especially in the world of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ). He regularly trains BJJ in Maryborough and you would probably catch him at the gym from time to time.
