Victor has recently moved to Melbourne from New Zealand where he graduated from the University of Otago in 2011. Since then he has been working exclusively in the private practice setting, working in a large Physiotherapy group in Christchurch New Zealand and another private practice group in Auckland. He has treated a variety of clients from sport or work-related injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and general aches and pains.
Victors main beliefs of health are that health and well-being is comprised of 3 main components – physical, mental and emotional, and that exercise is the cornerstone of all of them. His main approach to rehabilitation is exercise-based and his long term vision for clients is for them to leave the clinic at a higher level of function and a renewed interest in maintaining ones own health. His philosophy is that ‘one does not stop playing when they grow old, one grows old when they stop playing’. And while sometimes we may need to slow down, complete cessation of a hobbie is never ideal.Victor has recently returned from doing his OE, living in London and travelling around Europe. He has played and worked with a variety of sports and has a keen interest in martial arts and combat sports currently learning jiu-jitsu.
